The countdown is on - 26 days to my flight! Everything is progressing well, I think. I will be swimming in the lovely, warm sea at Abu Dhabi on the 7th July. I'm really looking forward to that.
I've now booked the train trip from Assisi to Corniglia, yay. Still waiting to book the next leg to Menaggio on Lake Como. I'm not worried about booking from Como back to Milano. I gather it's about a half hour trip on a local train so that should be easy.
I've found out some more about the Expo I want to go to in Milan. It sounds really interesting, both content wise & architecturally. Each country has a pavilion or similar which represents their country & their nutritional achievements. I'm looking forward to seeing the Austrian pavilion. New Zealand & Australia are not represented at all which I think strange when agriculture is such a big part of our exports. There are about 140 countries at the Expo so I shall wander happily. The bonus is that Ciirque du Soliel are performing at night at the Expo. I've never seen one of their shows so I'm going to try to buy a ticket to that as well.
My papers for the Greek tour & cruise have been sent to Flight Centre so I'll pick them up at the weekend hopefully. Things are slowly coming together, eh. I do enjoy the planning
I am so looking forward to the high summer in Italy!
